There have been a number of issues I have had whilst playing blackjack which differ massively from the casinos I have visited. It would appear that whilst I thought there was coding errors in the place these are deliberate house rules that have been found obscurely. |

{Not trying to be evil or anything but I don't think this should change as the complication to it was hard enough as it is. Anubis took forever to code the way the Casino's are now so we know this part of the game is rather difficult as far as coding goes.} |

As my player account is dead and no longer has a casino I can still safely say that I think the casino's should stay the way they are. They are mob owned casino's and as such would have house rules based in the casino's favour, hell people are lucky they walk away from a casino with several million without being threatened with death. |

I'm not against House Rules and these are meant to be mob owned Casinos. However I don't think it unreasonable that the more obscure ones that appear to be mistakes, either be corrected or at least acknowledged somewhere. |

{Just because someone took for ever to code something doesn't necessarily make it right. The main issue is that he has coded in a chunk of "non normal" rules} |

Perhaps each casino could have the owner set his own rules on situations such as this? |

I think that is the way to go. Toggle option for a selection of House Rules. |

so should we have a vote on toggle option for each of the house rules (not a blanket on/off for all house rules) with house rules posted above the blackjack board? |

I think that is the best option. |

I'm in favour of implementing this to an extent - perhaps allowing the player to win the normal amount for a hand as opposed to 1.5? The few casinos I've been to have a natural (10, A) blackjack trump any point-achieved blackjack, and it's worth noting that the rule I've just stated holds true in MR's blackjack when the reverse occurs - a dealer that achieves a natural blackjack immediately ends the game, not giving the player the chance that, ironically, a dealer would normally have in this situation. |

I'm slightly lost there Ralph. |

Sorry, semantics. I meant a point-achieved 21 (or, as I used the words, point-achieved blackjack) as opposed to a natural blackjack. |

Some people said this is a house rule some casinos have. I'm not an expert when it comes to casinos, but I have noticed the same thing Ralph mentioned - when the dealer gets a BJ, the player is not allowed to ask for any more cards. In the opposite situation, the dealer can try for a tie. This is clearly an advantage the house has over the player. Is this how the said house rule is supposed to work, creating an asymmetry in the rules? If not, then I think this should be corrected. |

You can't beat pure blackjack, only equal it. |

El_Nino the dealer still has to stick if on 17 or above, but if the dealer is below that he can still draw cards until he reaches that or busts. I have seen it where I have had blackjack and the dealer has 16 and he pulls out a 5 and it is counted as a tie. |

{This still really needs coder confirmation before we can go further with it. I would like to see a list of house rules made actionable by the owner. Is this possible?} |

{I don't think that this would pertain to a house rule - the point is thast the dealer is allowed an action that the player is not - no casino operates under two different sets of rules for different players, period.} |
